BareFiber Adapter is the ultimate time-saving solution for coupling unterminated fiber or optical components to test equipment. It contains connectors at one side of the adapter body; the other side of the connector can be terminated with the bare optical fiber directly.

Byallowing the user to perform optical measurements without cleaving orterminating, which requires additional equipment and procedures, the overall test time can be reduced by 50 percent. It is extremely easy-to-use, the fiberto be coupled is stripped and cleaned, then inserted into the unit until the end face meets the permanently mounted fiber.
